Campsite with activities and entertainment in Vendée

L’Atelier is a place for sharing and getting together, where you can draw, color, do-it-yourself, take part in creative workshops, recuperation workshops, craft workshops, photo workshops, listen to a story… or even just have a chat! All in all, a great time ahead!

What if, during your vacations, you took a little time out to learn some tricks from an expert photographer and find out how to take great photos with your phone (or camera)! You can do just that with Patrice, who will be offering a number of workshops over the summer – participation is subject to advance registration.

A calm and cosy space has been created to allow everyone to come and spend some relaxing, chill, quiet time, lying back in the hammock and watching the pine tree tops…

Or listening to the birds singing… looking at the blue sky… or sitting comfortably under the pergola reading a book… In disconnection mode… The choice is yours… Relax…

A small vegetable garden has been set up next to the mini-farm, with the rainwater collector nearby and the rain gauge.

From now on, you’ll have to look after the plantations. Everyone can come and look after them, get their hands in the soil and water them if necessary. Digging, planting, weeding and harvesting: agardening activity that lets you enjoy the great outdoors! You can also have fun recognizing the different plants! Our workshops and family events

Maybe you’re already practicing yoga, or maybe your vacation is the perfect opportunity to try a yoga session with Cosette? Who could ask for a more relaxing break?

Yoga is the practice of a set of postures and breathing exercises designed to bring about physical and mental well-being – quite a program, isn’t it? In summer, Cosette offers yoga classes once a week at the campsite. What a pleasure, what a time of well-being!

Do you like water? Do you want to get active? We’ve got you covered during your stay at La Conge campsite in Saint Hilaire de Riez.

We’re offeringwater aerobics in our heated pool during July and August(until week 34)! There’s no better way to get your day off to a good start and stay in shape.

Free and open to all! During the summer, our instructor offers aqua-gym classes at our campsite with heated pool (Espace Aquatique). Come and give it a try!

In summer, set off from the campsite on a walk with Patrick(Un Guide en Vendée), for a nature awakening to understand environments and ecosystems (plants, birds, formation and purpose of the dune…).

Patrick, who will help you discover the history of some of the world’s most famous places, will accompany you to make your stay unforgettable, enriching and rejuvenating! He’ll tell you all about the area, its history and culture, local products and places not to be missed. A real moment of conviviality! “The naturalist outing with Patrick, “Un guide en Vendée”, will lead you to discover the natural surroundings of the campsite: the forest, with its main tree species and their benefits, but also all the traces of life that can be found there, and which are discreetly active. The dune, with its very special ecosystem, and the plants, with their different properties and uses depending on which part of the dune you’re on. You’ll understand why the dune is formed, and how a few small plants are responsible for its formation.
Then there’s the beach, with all its often little-known treasures deposited by the tides, the importance of the sea leash, and the impact of human activities such as pollution and coastal erosion. The seabirds will also pay us a visit, enabling us to learn how to recognize them.
Throughout the walk, a number of subjects are often raised, as we talk to each other, enabling us to tell thestory of this territory, its culture, its mainactivities and how they have evolved over time…
In short, you’ll learn a lot on this walk, which is a little more than a simple stroll :)” So, why not take a stroll between the dunes and the forest, observe the flora and fauna, and discover the local heritage?
