Located in the Vendée region, with a total of 134 pitches (bare pitches, rentals and residential), on the edge of the forest and marshland, and just 900 meters from a sandy beach, Ushuaïa Villages La Conge campsite welcomes you to Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez in the heart of a magnificent 2-hectare natural pine forest.
The concept : Ushuaïa Villages la Conge is a family-friendly campsite where life is good. It is managed by Fabien and Séverine, who emphasize the friendly relationship between holidaymakers and their staff, in the heart of an unspoilt pine forest.
The mini-farm, where ewes, their babies and goats live together, is sure to win your heart!
Here, you’ll enjoy a zen-like stay, in contact with nature, with the choice of staying in peace or enjoying the activities. Whether you prefer creative, leisurely, sporting or cultural pursuits, there’s something for everyone ! A few words from Fabien:
“The campsite was created in 1965 by my great-uncle Clément. With the boom in vacation camps in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, many people were looking for accommodation to come and watch their children enjoy their vacations by the sea.
In those days, the only facilities available were tents, a few toilets, showers – with tokens – and a few cold-water taps, to satisfy a family clientele. A few years later, caravans arrived! New equipment, sanitary block and swimming pool took their place. Clément loved riding around on his little white bicycle to see if the holidaymakers were settled in. He was 92 when I took over his campsite in 2010. In 2014, my wife Séverine joined me in the adventure, and in 2021 she will be working full-time with me at the campsite.
Today, we continue to preserve the family spirit he established: a quiet, authentic and comfortable campsite, a real place to live in the heart of nature, to share good vacation moments, discover our territory, and create memories as a couple, with family or friends. And we’re still cycling around the camp to make sure everything runs smoothly! Long live the vacations at Camping Ushuaïa Villages La Conge! Nature, relaxation, experiences and discoveries!”

An ideal place to spend your vacations with family or friends, the campsite offers 2 or 3-bedroommobile homes in wood or classic cladding, as well as unusual accommodation and bare pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes.
