Whether you’re looking for a sporty version or a leisurely one, get on your bikes and set off on a journey between ocean and forest! Numerous cycle paths (from just outside the campsite) stretch through Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, taking you to Sion, the town, the beaches (Les plages), the marshes and more.
Camping Ushuaïa Villages La Conge has been awarded the Accueil Vélo label! This label guarantees :
- Less than 5 km from a bicycle path
- Appropriate equipment for cyclists: secure bike shelters, repair kits.
- A warm welcome (useful information and advice on itineraries, weather, etc.)
- Bicycle-friendly services: luggage transfer, laundry washing and drying, bike rental, bike washing, etc.
What’s more, we’re ideally located opposite the Vélodyssée ! Everything that makes our campsite in the Vendée an ideal place for cycling campers! Stop off at our new Trapper Lodge for cyclists.
You can also bring your own tent in your luggage and pitch it on one of our tent pitches.
Grocery store 800 m away, food trucks on site 3 times a week in the evening in July and August, various restaurants nearby.

Water sports
We’ll introduce you to the joys of catamaran sailing and the maritime environment. Sailing schools cater for adults and children aged 4 and over. Surfing is also part of the action, with the famous “Côte de Lumière”, a well-known reference for experienced surfers! Other water sports await you, including kitesurfing, jet-skiing, stand-up paddling, canoeing and kayaking.

Let’s all go hiking!
Whether you prefer cycling or walking, you’re in for a treat! You’ll be able to admire the more or less steep cliffs of the Vendée coastline, the marshes and their wild aspects, the preserved nature reserves, as if out of time… You’ll be able to marvel at the remarkable natural sites of our beautiful department.
Expert hikers will be able to measure themselves against the famous GR8, a path of no less than 221 km that follows the coastline and offers the eyes of the bravest its share of incredible landscapes, among which forests, marshes, beaches and dunes. You’re in for a real treat! Cycling enthusiasts will love the 1,800 km of cycle paths in the Vendée.
Riding
Whether you’re used to riding or not, you’ll find plenty to enjoy on fabulous excursions. Lessons and outings are organized by a number of riding schools and pony clubs, to the delight of young and old alike! Discover the natural heritage of the Vendée in a different way, on horseback. We particularly recommend a sunset ride on the beach…
The golf course
The Vendée (Visit the Vendée) offers no less than 5 golf courses, includingone of the most sumptuous in France, the famous Golf de Saint-Jean de-Monts, ideally situated in the heart of a forest of pines and oaks, some over a hundred years old, all by the sea.
